EVENT MANAGEMENT
There has been a significant increase in the demand for signage and traffic management from all events managed over the past 5 years. We have a dedicated team in house who are CSAS / SIA accredited to deal with this ever-expanding side of the business.
Vehicle flow, into and out of an event, is what makes or breaks an event and leaving a lasting impression is key to DSTMltd returning the following year.
We supply method statements, drawings and apply for the TTRO’s & event applications to local authorities. Accurate and timely communication with the police and transport operators is also essential to ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible with the utmost safety of pedestrians in mind and with the least impact to the local highway network.
DSTM's dedicated events team can provide you with a complete bespoke events package including the design, liaison, implementation, marshalling and operation of all traffic management requirements including setting up car parks with a "Park and Ride" service. We work in conjunction with an Event & Security Company, to provide a complete 'turn-key' events package where you can leave us to do all the organising and take care of road management, event safety and security for you.
A typical example would be the work we recently did for BBC Children in Need at Skegness in 2016.
We have helped plan and organise traffic management and event safety and security for a number of events, parades throughout Lincolnshire and East Midlands, including the Woodhall Spa 1940's Festival , Lincoln Pride and the Boston Marathon .We bring considerable expertise to the table where any event requiring changes or closures to highways are concerned, our ultimate aim is to keep traffic "on the right road".
